Today it HAILED during sunshine in North Hollywood.


This reminds me of so many things.
-What it's like to live in SoCal. Where the weather changes as frequently as the lives of people.
-How a certain sight, smell, or sound can completely transport you to another time in your life entirely. Whenever it is raining while the sun is still shining I think of...
Easily one of my favorite places in the WORLD.

Sometimes, I'll be lying in bed and I will hear the church bell outside or airplane with go overhead or I will smell something so specific I will BECOME who I was during that memory.

I wonder if this happens to everyone. Or whether my imagination still runs wild-- just like when I was a kid.
